1. Accepting these terms
These terms are an agreement between you and Zykon (“Zykon,” “we,” “us”), operated from Surat, Gujarat, India. By using this website, submitting a founding brand or founding creator application, joining the waitlist, or paying through a Zykon code at a participating shop, you accept them. If you don't accept them, don't use the service.
Because Zykon is pre-launch, these terms are a starting point rather than a finished contract. We will publish updated terms before public release, and we will email anyone on the waitlist when we do.
2. What Zykon is, today
Zykon connects shops and creators. A participating shop displays a printed Zykon code. A customer scans it, enters the bill amount and a creator's code, and pays. The payment is split at capture between the shop, the creator, and Zykon, and the customer is credited with reward points we call Zykoins.
The service is in a private pilot in Surat. That means:
- Availability is limited to invited shops and creators.
- Features may change, break, or be withdrawn with little or no notice.
- Zykoin redemption does not exist yet. Points accrue; there is currently no way to spend them.
- We are not a bank, a payment aggregator, or a lender. Payments are processed by a licensed payment partner, and your payment is also governed by that partner's terms.
3. Who can use it
Brands and creators. You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter a contract under Indian law. If you apply on behalf of a business, you confirm you are authorised to bind that business.
Customers. You may pay a bill through a Zykon code at any age at which you can lawfully make that purchase. However, holding a Zykon account and accruing or redeeming Zykoins requires you to be at least 18.
Surat only, for now. The pilot is limited to shops located in Surat, Gujarat and to creators whose audience is substantially in and around Surat. We print and deliver the counter codes ourselves, and a code is no use to a shop we cannot reach. Applications from elsewhere in India are welcome but will be held until we open the city you are in — we are not able to accept them today.
Zykon is intended for use in India. We make no claim that it is appropriate or available elsewhere.
4. Waitlist and applications
An application is not an acceptance. Sending us a form does not make you a founding brand or a founding creator, does not entitle you to a code, and does not create any commercial relationship between us. You are a participant only once we have reviewed your details and told you so — by phone, WhatsApp or email — and issued you a code or a dashboard login. Until then nothing here applies to you except this section and our privacy policy.
Submitting an application does not create any obligation on our part to accept you, to respond within any particular time, or to give reasons for a decision. We may decline or later remove any brand or creator from the pilot — for example where the details given are inaccurate, where a creator's audience appears to be purchased, or where we think participation would harm customers or other participants.
Everything you tell us in an application must be accurate. Brand and creator dashboard accounts, once issued, are yours to keep secure; you are responsible for what happens under them.
5. Payments and splits
Customer payments are processed by a licensed payment partner and settled directly to the shop's and creator's registered bank accounts. Zykon retains a platform share of each transaction. We will name our payment partner here once onboarding is complete, and your payment will also be governed by that partner's own terms.
- The creator share is agreed per code and is capped at 5% of the bill value. It may be set lower, and may be reduced for future transactions on notice, but is never raised above that cap.
- A transaction is only counted once the payment provider confirms capture. Abandoned or failed payments earn nobody anything.
- Discounts shown at the counter are funded by the participating shop under the terms it agreed with us, not by Zykon.
- Refunds, chargebacks, and disputes about goods or services are between the customer and the shop. Where a payment is reversed, we may recover any share already settled on it.
- Settlement runs directly from the payment provider to your own bank account. Zykon does not hold your funds at any point. Timing depends on the payment provider and on your bank, and we can't guarantee it.
Taxes are your own responsibility. Creators are responsible for declaring their earnings; shops are responsible for their own GST treatment of the bill and any discount.
6. Zykoins and rewards
Zykoins are promotional reward points. They are not money, not a prepaid instrument, not a security, and not redeemable for cash. They have no rupee value, cannot be transferred or sold, and cannot be withdrawn.
No redemption mechanism exists yet. Points accrue now and will become spendable when we launch the customer marketplace. When we do, we will publish the redemption rules, which may include expiry periods, per-brand limits, and a conversion basis that has not yet been decided.
Points honestly earned during the pilot will carry over to launch. We will not cancel a balance because it was earned early. We may reverse or void points that were credited in error, credited on a payment that was later refunded or reversed, or obtained in breach of section 8.
7. Founding cohort benefits
Founding brand and founding creator benefits — early access, direct input on what we build, a founding badge, and priority placement and preferential terms when the customer marketplace launches — are offered at Zykon's discretion as part of the pilot. They are not purchased, not guaranteed, not transferable, and may be varied or withdrawn on reasonable notice.
We have not yet finalised what the marketplace terms will be for anyone. What we can say is that founding participants will be listed first and will be offered terms at least as good as those offered to participants who join later. We will publish the details before the marketplace goes live.
Direct input on the roadmap means we will listen. It does not mean we will build a given feature.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Generate transactions that don't correspond to a real purchase, or enter a bill amount higher than the amount actually payable at the counter.
- Coordinate with a shop, or with another participant, to manufacture transactions or inflate bills.
- Misrepresent your relationship with a brand, or post about a Zykon brand without the disclosure your platform and Indian advertising rules require.
- Reproduce, reprint, relocate, or share Zykon codes outside the shop they were issued to.
- Scrape, probe, overload, or reverse engineer the service, or attempt to access data belonging to another participant.
Creators may use their own code on their own genuine purchases, as often as they like.
We may suspend access, withhold an unsettled share, and void points where we reasonably believe this section has been broken. Where we withhold a share, we will tell you why and give you a chance to respond.
9. Leaving
You can leave at any time, for any reason, by emailing us. There is no notice period, no minimum term, and no exit fee.
When you leave, we stop issuing your codes, settle anything already earned on captured transactions in the normal way, and delete or anonymise your data in line with our privacy policy and section 13. Zykoins are tied to your account and don't survive it.
We can also end a participation — under section 4 or section 8, or simply because the pilot changes shape. If we do, we'll tell you why and settle everything already earned.
10. Intellectual property
The Zykon name, the wordmark, the tagline “Scan. Earn. Redeem.”, this site, and the software behind it belong to Zykon. Being in the pilot doesn't transfer any of it to you; it gives you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive right to use the marks we supply, in the form we supply them, to say you work with Zykon. That right ends when your participation does.
Codes issued to you remain ours. You can use yours for as long as you're a participant, and we can withdraw or reissue it.
Brands keep their own trademarks and creative. By joining, a brand allows us to display its name and logo to identify it as a participating shop, and a creator allows us to display their handle and public profile image in the same way. Either can ask us to stop by emailing us.
Creators keep everything they post. By posting about a Zykon brand, you allow us and that brand to reshare it on our own channels, with credit, while you're a participant. Ask us to stop and we will.
11. Changes to the service and these terms
We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of Zykon, including ending the pilot. We may update these terms; the “last updated” date at the top will change, and for material changes we will email participants at least 14 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after an update means you accept the updated terms.
If we end the pilot, we will give participants reasonable notice, stop issuing codes, and settle every share already earned on captured transactions. We will tell Zykoin holders what is happening to their balances before any change takes effect, and we will not cancel points that were honestly earned.
12. Things outside our control
We are not liable for failure or delay caused by events beyond our reasonable control — including outages or changes at our payment partner or your bank, failures of internet or telecom infrastructure, changes in law or regulatory direction, natural events, or civil disruption. Where such an event affects settlement, we will tell you what we know and help you chase it, but we can't guarantee a timeline we don't control.
13. Your data
We handle personal data in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. How we collect, use, and keep your data is set out in our privacy policy. In summary: we keep transaction records for as long as Indian tax and accounting law requires, and we keep application and account data only while you are a participant plus a reasonable period afterwards. You can ask us to delete your data at any time by emailing us, and we will do so except where we are legally required to retain a record.
14. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The service is provided “as is” during the pilot. We don't warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any particular level of earnings, footfall, or reach will result from using it.
Zykon is not the seller of anything you buy at a participating shop, and is not responsible for the quality, safety, or legality of those goods or services. Disputes about a purchase are between you and the shop.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Zykon is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses, or for lost profits, lost revenue, or lost goodwill. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total aggregate liability to you is limited to the greater of (a) the total amounts we actually retained or paid to you in connection with your transactions in the three months before the claim, or (b) ₹5,000.
Nothing here limits liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, or anything else that cannot be limited under Indian law.
15. Grievance Officer
In accordance with the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021 and the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020:
- Grievance Officer: Laksh Salecha

- Address: Zykon, R Tower 112, Citylight, Surat, Gujarat 395007, India
We will acknowledge any complaint within 48 hours of receiving it, and resolve it within 15 days. If we can't resolve it in that time, we'll tell you why and when we expect to.
16. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Surat, Gujarat have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them. We'd much rather sort it out over a phone call first — email us and we will.
